In this internship, you will:

• Assist in the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines for various data sources and destinations.
• Help with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data quality and availability.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of data warehouses and data lakes.
• Contribute to data modeling and schema design to support efficient data access and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Learn and apply best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• A solid understanding of database concepts (relational and/or NoSQL).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
• Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A passion for learning and a proactive attitude.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Lake).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
